Hi, my name is Dorothy Rudolph. I am a wife and mother of two kids. I work part time as a critical care nurse at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, the village in which I have lived for the last 9 years. I have always been concerned with breast cancer, seeing the effects of it in the hospital as well as many friends and relatives being afflicted with it. The statistics have overwhelmed me over the years, 1 in 9 in Nassau County. I needed to do something and that's how I became involved in the 3 Day event.

I am by no means an athlete. But I do have determination and the support of my family and friends.
